Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province announced on April 20 that they will create 3,020 job vacancies –– open to both Chinese and foreign applicants –– in order to satisfy the increasing demands of supporting the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
According to information from a news conference jointly held by the human resources and social security ministries of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei; 750 companies in the region will offer 3,020 job vacancies for positions such as salespeople, administrators, programmers and machinists.
The jobs are available in around 70 sectors, including alternative energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, aviation, IT, environmental protection and biotechnology.
The head of Hebei province’s human resources department said that some 317 Hebei companies will recruit 3,604 people for 1,208 vacancies at the job fair.
Over 76.7 percent of the posts on offer were from private businesses, which number 2,602 companies. The other 1,002 posts are all from 74 State-owned enterprises.
In addition, the top five industries that lack skilled workers in Hebei are modern services, machine manufacturing, IT, electronic communications and education, which is in line with Hebei’s strategy for industrial transformation and upgrading.
