The Shijiazhuang-Jinan railway line which is currently undergoing construction is scheduled to go into service this October, Hebei Daily reported on June 8.
The railway line, starting from Shijiazhuang –– Hebei province’s capital city –– runs through Hengshui and Jingzhou in Hebei, Dezhou in Shandong province, and finally arrives in Jinan, capital city of Shandong province. The whole line will extend for around 323 kilometers through northern and central China when it’s completed.
The railway line is designed for speeds of up to 250 kilometers per hour, and will serve as an important passenger line when put into service this October.
