Teenagers compete to design robots in Hebei

The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) was held at Xianghe Culture Center in Hebei province from June 10 to 11, with the winner going on to represent China at an international competition held in Australia.

The FTC is targeted at middle school students, where participants design their own fully automatic or semi-automatic robots to finish appointed tasks. The competition is expected to play an important role in inspiring young people to showcase their creativity.

The event attracted a total of 350 teams from across China who gathered in Xianghe to compete for medals.
